Banggong Co (Tibetan name) is a famous border lake known as Pangong Tso in India. It is situated at an altitude of about 13,900 feet above sea-level (4237 m). One third of the lake is in India while the remaining two thirds lies in China.
Pangong Tso is also know as "lake of changing colours" as it changes it's colours in beautiful gradients of blue after every few meters of distance or with changing shades of clouds and sunlight.
The following series of images have been click with camera being half inside the lake and half on the surface of the water. This adds a new gradient and patterns of yellow along with gradients of blue and thats what I have tried to showcase in this series.
Pangong Lake, is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas. It is 134 km long and extends from India to China. Above pictures were taken from the Indian side of Pangong Tso Lake.
